The Music Man

Last year we were most impressed by the swinging sounds which a trad group under Mr Elston Blain brought forth at the Waimea Intermediate School's concert. Now Mr Blain, assisted by his wife Betty, is giving his time and talents to the girls of Salisbury School and although they have been teaching the girls, there for a short time only, already the band is delighting all who have heard and seen, with their rhythmic and melodious playing.
