Settling in Nelson after living in Ottawa and various New Zealand centres, is the Ryan family. Holding young Brett is his grandmother, Mrs Marquerite Ryan, over here on holiday from Canada. Darren Patricia and Danny, who is with Helicopters (N.Z.) Ltd, found big smiles for the camera.

Joining the rest of his family which have shifted to Nelson is Gerard McCrenor, his wife June and children David and Kathleen. Gerard is a mechanic- with Nelson Transport.

Well-known Nelson identity Bob Monk, a chemist with the City Council, has accepted a post with the University of Otago. Family, Roger, Brian, Graham (back), Jean and Colin, look delighted.

Settling in Nelson are newly-weds Laurelle and Marinus Koppe. Marinus is formerly of Christchurch and Laurelle of Blenheim. Marinus is salesman with Reliance Radio and Electrical.
