An unusual view of buildings on the reclaimed area adjacent to McGlashen Quay. It was taken from one of the banks enclosing an area which will be reclaimed eventually.

The Talisman, converted to a floating landing stage, is now in use in the small boat harbour. A very useful amenity.

Work is progressing well on the formation of a light boat slip behind the premises of Dorman Engineering. When completed, this slip, provided with a winch, will be capable of handling boats of up to 80 tons. A much bigger slip is to be built later on an adjacent site.
