One thing that visitors to Nelson over the holiday period will not be able to complain about was the weather. Brilliant sunshine every day drew thousands to Tahuna Beach and to the Golden Bay. The motor camps at Tahuna, the Maitai and the reservoir were all comfortably filled and the carnival atmosphere prevailed throughout. All in all, Sunny Nelson truly lived up to its reputation.
