Chindits Gather In Nelson

Memories of Burma days during the Second World War were revived for 27 Chindits at a national reunion held in Nelson on show weekend. Guests of honour were the Governor General (Sir Bernard Fergusson) and Lady Fergusson. The outstanding feature of the reunion was the decorative effects in the Oddfellows Hall.
