Motueka High School Ball

With spring upon us and the winter left behind (we hope) the ball season also is coming to an end. One of the last to be held in the district is that of the Motueka High School Past Pupils' Association, at which these pix were taken, (John R. Sharp Studio).

Gone fishin

A rising tide, a sunny day and no work. With these necessary conditions, any fisherman worth his salt would have a line in the water. Some prefer Tasrnan Bay and further afield, but a large contingent can always be seen at Port Nelson in the weekends.
