McGlashen Quay Extensions

McGlashen Quay at Port Nelson has been the site Of tremendous activity in recent months. Piles for the southern extension of the quay have been driven and work is proceeding on the decking. The area between the wharf and the present roadway is being filled by using boulders dredged from the harbour entrance and taken to the site by hopper barge. There they are scoop dragged into position.
