Banks Ball

Some of the world's best-known night clubs were represented in the Stoke Memorial Hall when the combined Nelson banks held their annual ball. The nightclubs' motifs were erected above the entrances to the various alcoves. Once again it was obvious the bank staffs had gone to amazing lengths to decorate the hail and their efforts certainly added to the festivities.
