Here and There
A familiar sight around Nelson streets last month was this pseudo-wind-up car, liberally daubed with paint. The car belongs to Dave Taylor (left) who was on holiday here with Jim Hinkley who did all the signwriting.

Should the Standard-Triumph organisation decide to set up its assembly works in the cotton mill, this transit shed being built on McGlashen Quay could hold a lot of cars. As it is, the shed will provide the Harbour Board with much-needed storage space on the wharf.
