The Nelson Photo News

Here and There

A familiar sight around Nelson streets last month was this pseudo-wind-up car, liberally daubed with paint. The car belongs to Dave Taylor (left) who was on holiday here with Jim Hinkley who did all the signwriting.

The new classroom block at Waimea College which is now in use.

Should the Standard-Triumph organisation decide to set up its assembly works in the cotton mill, this transit shed being built on McGlashen Quay could hold a lot of cars. As it is, the shed will provide the Harbour Board with much-needed storage space on the wharf.
