Scots Guards On Musical Parade

More than 10,000 residents of the Nelson district were given the musical treat of their lives-at the public performances of the Regimental Band of Her Majesty's Scots Guards at the Richmond racecourse. In perfect weather - so hot one felt sympathy for the guardsmen in full uniform - the band displayed in their marching and bearing the precision which has always been synonomous with guardsmen. It was a colourful scene and the music as varied as it was beautiful.
