Stoke Y.M.C.A. Gala

Inclement weather prevented the Stoke branch of the Y.M.C.A. from currying out its full programme at Isel Park, but its annual gala, nevertheless, was quite successful. The gala atmosphere commenced in the morning when the Aero Club's Dominie flew over Greenmeadows and dropped balloons. The first stick of balloons drifted off course a bit but the second lot was bong on target.
