New Rotary Club For Stoke-Tahunanui

The charter of the newly-formed Stoke-Tahunanui Rotary Club was formally handed over to its first president, Mr Ron King, at a dinner attended by about 200 Rotarians and their wives in the Celtic gymnasium last month, The presentation was made by Past District Governor, Mr W. B. Bendall, Blenheim, and also present was the District Governor, Brigadier J. T. Burrows, and his wife. (All pix by Peter Cooper Studio)
