New Kindy Opened At Richmond

Richmond now has its own kindy. This might not sound terribly exciting to a lot of people, but for all who had worked for the day when the pre-school children of the borough would have their own little school, it was a very big day. There was ample cause for celebration. The £6000 building, due to the enthusiastic support given by the committee and parents, was opened debt free, and the opening means a cessation of all the hard work which had to be carried out to bring this project to fruition. The fine building, of brick, is on the corner of Elizabeth and Florence Streets.
