Nurses Graduate

Eleven nurses who have completed their State final examination and, with them ,their training course at Nelson Public Hospital, were presented with their medals at the function at by nurses' home. Guest speaker at the ceremony was Miss J. Taylor, matron in chief designate to the Auckland Hospital Board, who also presented the medals. Before doing so, she addressed some very sound advice to the graduates.

Special prizes were won by Nurses Dawn Chisnall, Joan Langmuir, Nola Corboy (back), and Marion Jones, Judy Richards and Geizler Medhurst.

Officials present were Matron S. C. I. Rolls, Miss Taylor, Mr H. G. West (chairman of the board), Dr H. J. H. Hiddlestone (medical superintendent) and Sister Margaret Craig (registered nurses' association).
