New Premises For Harbour Board Opened

The fine buildings springing up on the reclamation area at Port Nelson will not be shamed by the Harbour Board's new administrative building which was officially opened by the Governor General, Sir Bernard Fergusson, last month. The building, one of the first to be seen upon entering the reclaimed area, commands a perfect view to sea and over the reclamation. The interior is as beautiful as its exterior and employees who have had to carry out the ever increasing volume of work in the dilapidated old building on the main wharf which has served the board since 1905 are enthusiastic about their new quarters.
