The Boat Show

×

Whopping great cabin cruisers down to a small dinghy were exhibited in the No 3 hangar at Nelson airport when the Monaco Boat Club held its second boat show. The club, it was obvious, had gone to great pains to make this show as successful as its first, and this effort was not wasted. Members' craft and trade exhibits filled the hangar and what little space remained was filled by tremendous crowds. The boats shown were valued at around the £40,000 mark. We noticed a trend away from outboards in some of the bigger boats this year. Well, boaties, you've had a wonderful preview of what's new for the coming season. We hope you enjoy it. Above is a view of the boat-and-crowd-filled hangar.
