Children Plant the Forest

About 600 children from schools within the Nelson district gave the New Zealand Forest Service a lift along last month when they planted about 16,000 trees in the Coronation Forest, Spooner's Range. It was fairly obvious that they were only too pleased to lay aside pen and paper for a day in the great outdoors.
