South Island Soccer Tournament

Otago came through the South Island under-16 soccer tournament without a loss and so won the tournament shield, In the final game, Otago and Canterbury had a very hard game, but Otago made no mistake with its combination and shooting when it got within striking distance of Canterbury's goal and won 3-0. Nelson beat Buller 7-0 and in so doing won third place.
