Harrier Club Titles

Nelson's Kerry Williams maintained his status in New Zealand long distance running when he clipped 3 min 16 sec off his own record in winning easily the Nelson Harrier Club's senior title for the third of the four times the race has been run over a testing course at Oaklands, Stoke. His time was about 2 mins better than that set by Barry Magee, the national title-holder, when he won the Methodist Club's title here over the same course.
