Roving Camera


The Nelson St. John Ambulance Association made history with what is believed to be the first mobile first aid unit in New Zealand. It was dedicated by the Bishop of Nelson (the Rt. Rev. F. o. Hulme-Moir) at a service at the church steps. The Bishop is seen here with District Superintendent D. Ashton and the president, Dr. D. C. Low.


Minutes after Mrs. Lorna de Blicquy had brought this Olympia glider in for a forced landing on the Boulder Bank, Mr. A. R. Bergman took this pic of Mrs. de Blicquy and Mr. A. Collier who had gone to her aid. the glider was only slightly damaged.
