Yachties' Ball

The Aurora Sailing Club's latest venture, a ball, was a huge success. The Stoke Memorial Hall had a real nautical air about it, the walls being festooned with nets and general sailing bric-a-brac, and the ceiling almost hidden by sails and buoys. The stage, centrepiece of the hall, was shown off by two yachts to lend a real yachting note to the festivities.
