Reprints of photographs appearing in "Photo News" or taken by our photographers, may be obtained from the Peter Cooper Studio, Hannah's Buildings, Trafalgar Street, after publication of each issue. Photographs credited to other photographers can be secured on application to those concerned.

Former residents of Whangarei and Tauranga will be interested to learn that we now publish a "Photo News" in both these cities and that these, with Gisborne, Taranaki and Waneanui "Photo News" can be purchased at the Peter Cooper Studio.

Police Wives' Club held its annual dinner in the Hotel Nelson recently. Those attending were Shirley Solly, Maureen Mitchell, May Busch, Una Dobson, Judith McWilliams, Lena McCallum, Pamela Bonnington, Beverley Agnew, Eleanor Gibbins, Coral Mustard (Blenheim), Joy Condell, and Chris Farrow.

Judith Croucher, of the 1st Nelson Vanguard Company, Girl Guides, received her Queen's Guide badge at a Company ceremony. That's a high award, Judith, no wonder you're smiling.

This late model Chevie came to a sticky end on the Nelson-Mapua highway at O'Connor's Creek recently. Driver, young Brian Richards, suffered a cut on his forehead and a few bumps but he was soon out of hospital. Pic by David Heal, of Mapua.
