"... A Host of Golden Daffodils"

Nelson was this year chosen as the venue for the National Daffodil Society's South Island show. This was the first time this show has been held here, and what a show it was. Blooms of all sizes and colours – even colours not normally associated with daffodils – were on display. Many had come from all over New Zealand. Premier bloom, a seedling, was won by O. R. Marshall, Blenheim. At the North Island show he also took the championship ribbon.
