Wedding Bells - with a difference
The Otago-Southland Club celebrated its 9th birthday in Nelson with a mock wedding and a fair dinkum wedding reception. These pix, taken by the Peter Cooper Studio, give some idea of the zany proceedings.
"Is the bride baptised?" - there seemed to be some confusion for Mrs Olive Jackson (best man), Bert Woods (flowergirl), Jim Cameron (groom), Marie Latimer (page boy), Jim Chisholm (bride), Mor-rie Alborough (bridesmaid) and Mrs Tom Tait (the clergy).
