The Nelson Post Office Women's League celebrated its 25th anniversary with a cocktail party and dinner and a picture party. Here members are seen in the foyer of the State Theatre where they saw "Tosca".
New shop premises in Pu-taitai Street, Stoke, feature something new in building construction. The walls, of concrete, were prefabricated on the ground and then hoisted into place by crane.
