Arbor Day Plantings

Nelson's Arbor day plantings this year were concentrated mainly around the Tahuna Sands Reserve area where 300 trees and ornamental shrubs were planted. In this area the Jaycees, Rotary, Tahuna Women's Institute, and the Nelson Native Forest and Bird Protection Society planted a tremendous variety of trees and shrubs.
