Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

Members of the Girls' Life Brigade movement celebrated the brigade's diamond jubilee with parades in Nelson. About 400 members from Nelson, Blenheim, Murchison, and Motueka attended the celebrations. A parade was held at Stoke on the Saturday and a church parade at the Church of Christ on the Sunday.
