Jockey Club Meeting
After weeks of lovely Nelson sunshine, clouds overshadowed Richmond Park for the Nelson Jockey Club's annual two-day meeting. This year, fields for most events, and the crowds, were smaller than last, but some excellent finishes provided racegoers with plenty of excitement. Disappointment of the meeting was non-starting of Compensate who won the cup for the previous four years.
