This lovely little shrine of the Virgin Mary was made of thousands of small shells from Fiji by Mrs Rae Leatch, of Nelson, and given to Mr and Mrs C. E. Netto as a Christmas present.

The Bishop of Nelson (the Rt. Rev. F. O. Hulme-Moir) and Mrs Hulme-Moir recently returned from a two months' visit to Australia. Primary reasons for the visit were to attend graduation of their son Ian as a doctor at Sydney and to see another son, Lachlan, who is attending the veterinary school at the University of Sydney.
