Motor Cycling Thrills

Motor cycling enthusiasts, and there were thousands at Tahuna, certainly got their fill of thrills at the Nelson Motor Cycle Club's annual beach meeting. Riders of these high-powered machines set a sizzling pace and their skill earned the approbation of the crowd. There were quite a number of upsets, but no serious injury resulted and in most cases riders who had spills carried on to finish their race.
