Christmas Greetings … from the Editor

With Christmas less than three weeks away, no doubt all of you, my readers, are already compiling your shopping lists and drawing up the list of relatives for whom presents must be bought. It's a festive season. Yet, on Christmas morning, when the trying business, isn't it, this preparing for the children are pattering (or thundering) around with excited yelps, all the work seems worthwhile. It is a time when the family draws closer together, friendships are renewed and happiness abounds. In a word, it's Christmas. To all the messages of goodwill all of you will receive, may I add that of my own and my family's. To each and every one of you, may you be living in the Nelson district, other parts of New Zealand or overseas, we wish you a very happy Christmas and a prosperous and peaceful 1962.
