Skating Titles

The Nelson Roller Skating Club's championships were decided during the month at the Tahuna rink. During an afternoon and evening a very full programme was run off for the 54 competitors.

The intermediate boys' half-mile speed skate in progress, won by L. Kells (front) after J. Jacques (rear) was disqualified.

Anne Williams won the kindergarten solo

Judy Williamson won junior girls 1/4-mile speed

Intermediate 1/4-mile speed-went to Gillian Rogers

Marion Gill and Josie Gardner shared senior women's solo title

Margaret Hadler was second in senior women's solo title
