It's been a few years since the Oram family were last together. The only one of the three sons who has been at home in the last couple of years is Geoffrey (right), who is at Nayland College. Paul is in the Police Force, in Wellington, and Mark is a physiotherapist at Palmerston North (he's also a lock in the Manawatu rugby side). Mr and Mrs Dave Oram complete the family group

Congratulations to Nelson cinematographer Morell Anderson, who won a Kodak plaque for one of the five best 16mm films at, the recent N.Z. Film Festival, at Palmerston North. The awards are made through the Federation of N.Z. Amateur Cine Societies. Morell's entry was a black and white film, with sound track, on "Tobacco in New Zealand," and it is one of three films he has made on tobacco

It is surprising that on such a comparatively small staff, the Nelson branch of the Bank of New South Wales boasts a high proportion of prominent sportsmen. At right, from rear, are Graeme Bell (hockey rep. and senior cricketer), Coye Anderson (captain of the Nelson table tennis team and No. 1 player and former singles champ), Wayne Maw (Nelson golf rep. and provincial stroke play champion, and former Mid-South Canterbury rep.) and John Gellatly (Nelson Bays' rugby five-eighth). Not a staff member, but with ties with the bank, is Mary Anderson (Coye's wife), who is the Nelson and South Island singles tennis champion

Farewelled after 23 years with the Nelson City Council's Electricity Department was Charles Netto, who came here from Burma, where he was also an electrical fitter. Mr and Mrs Netto received a presentation from the city electrical engineer, Mr J. F. Logan
