Holiday Talent Quest

A keenly followed radio programme, during the August holidays, was the Keith Walker talent quest, which attracted more than 50 entries. The top five competitors in each grade, primary and intermediate, received prizes and, as an added bonus, the schools of the winners of each section received $10. The contest was judged by Margaret Kingsford.
