Regional Title Won By Mrs Nelson

Mrs Nelson, Alice Mitchener, progressed another step towards the Mrs New Zealand title when she won the Nelson-Marlborough regional event, held in the Fountain Court Lounge of the Post Office Hotel, at Motueka. Plunket-G.H.B. would be pleased with the success of the regional final. The lounge was packed and all the guests at the function seemed to enjoy themselves. By now, the Mrs New Zealand final will have been held, and we certainly hope Alice Mitchener has claimed the national title.
