The Nelson Tailors' team, of 1905, certainly had a proud record. They were only beaten once. Unfortunately, we were unable to check how many games they played, but we're certain they must have played more than one. Looks as if bushy features were popular then, too
In less sophisticated times a keeper was needed to man the Boulder Bank lighthouse. But now, in these days of high pressure fuel tanks, etc., a keeper is not needed. This photograph shows the lighthouse in the background and, in the foreground, is the keeper's house and other sheds. The house is now being used in Tahunanui
