The Highland Ball was a Grand Affair
The grand Highland Ball is recognised as one of the highlights of the ball season, and this year's event was a beaut. From go to whoa, everyone had a ball.

This is the moment that makes true Scots proud: The haggis being piped in. Weak English stomachs probably turn at the sight of the traditional delicacy (or the smell) but you can almost tell the ancestry of a Scot by the way he tucks into the haggis. The piper is David Skinner and bearing the haggis is James Willox, patron of the Highland Band
John Bishop and Jean Brough
