Nayland-Hillmorton Sports Meeting
Nayland College was the overall winner in the annual sports fixture with Hillmorton High School, of Christ-church. Nayland won 6-4, and its winning sides were rugby (18-4), girls' fencing (7-3), boys' and girls' hockey (3-1, 6-3), boys' basketball (38-28), and netball (21-18).
