A week of celebrations was held to mark the centenary of the Holy Trinity Church at Richmond. The church was consecrated on July 31, 1872. A consecration day thanksgiving service was held on Monday, July 31, to mark the event, and during the rest of the week several activities were held. The social highlight of the week's celebrations was the Centennial Ball.
