Rotaract Donation To Deaf Unit

The Stoke School deaf unit, the only one in Nelson, benefited by $50.00 through the car washing efforts of the Stoke-Tahunanui Rotaract Club, recently. Rotaract members organised a car washing morning and from this raised $50.00, which was presented to the head teacher at Stoke School, Mr Tony Berdinner, to purchase equipment for the deaf unit. The unit caters for 12 children from the Nelson area.
