Athletics In The Right Spirit

A dominant feature of the Nay­land College athletics was the willingness of everyone to part­icipate regardless of result. To accommodate competitors who just "wanted to have a go," officials had B sections in most events. Having the emphasis on competing rather than just win­ning is a sound principle.
