Rebecca Malthus Shone In Waimea College Swimming
Of the seven records broken at the Waimea College swimming sports, Rebecca Malthus set three and had a hand in a fourth, the Senior House medley relay. Rebecca set new times of 79.8sec. in the senior 100 metres freestyle; 33 1/3 metres freestyle, 21.3sec; and the 33 1/3 metres butterfly, 24.1sec. Other records were set by Melanie Hill, Maureen Coghlan and Blake Maling.
