Bridal Gowns On Display At Dahlia Show

Visitors to the Dahlia Show, organised by the Nelson Horticultural Society, were treated to a fine display of flowers; and bridal gowns, from the Starlight Salon. Having bridal gowns for hire is a new venture in Nelson and one which should prosper. Entries for the show were higher than last year and on display were dahlias, summer flowering chrysanthemums, cut flowers, house plants, roses, floral art displays, ferns and vegetables.
