Junior Darts Players' Trophy Presentations

The nursery of Nelson darts, the Nelson Darts Association Junior League, had its first trophy presentation recently. The league, formed three months ago, has a membership of 60 and caters for players in the 9-15-year age group. Trophies were presented by the chief reporter of "The Nelson Evening Mail, " Arch Barclay, who is a keen darts player.

The girl's doubles champs were Anne Silke and Charlotte Manihera. Charlotte also won the singles title

As a gesture of appreciation, the league presented a bouquet to Ollie Mears, who organised the league, Ollie, a New Zealand representative, received the flowers from Gary Iti
