Thirty-three pupils of Rockville School recently visited Nelson for four days, with a teacher and three parents. While here they visited the Nelson City Council. Here Wendy McKay, watched by her fellow pupils, signs Mayor Roy McLennan's visitors' book

Some unsuspecting pedestrian could easily be injured on this deteriorated section of the footpath on Haven Road. Many people on their way to work use the path, approaching Days Corner Service Station. That rail does not seem too secure either

Home for a short time were Bill Banham and his wife Lydia who spent part of their honeymoon in Nelson. Bill and Lydia live in Sydney, where he is an agency administrator with Phoenix Life Insurance. He was with the same company in Wellington before shifting to Sydney four years ago

A group of people is shown a display of the belief of the Mormon Church in the L.D.S. Church by Elder Bloomfield. The display weighs about two tons and is transported by truck to different centres. It was exhibited at the Nelson branch of the Church of the Latter Day Saints recently
