Hill Climb Thrills

The quiet which usually prevails in Pig Valley was rudely broken by the scream of engines when the Nelson Car Club held its hill climb event. Fastest time for the climb was gained by Ross Hore in his Farina-Ford. However, the most exciting spectacle of the day was provided by Graham Anderson, in his Fowog, who hit a bank and overturned. The car was damaged but Graham scrambled uninjured from the vehicle.
