Our Cover

No. 132 16 October 1971

Visitors to Westport usually make a stop at Cape Foulwind to view the mighty Tasman swirling (or smashing) at the base of the sandstone cliffs. At high tide the sea rises to the base, but low water uncovers a narrow beach.

Back Cover. These stems of orchids were grown by Mr and Mrs Ern Bradley of Stoke, and they make a delightful picture against the blue sky. (Photo by Barry Simpson).
