Trelawny of the "Wells"

Waimea College's annual production was Sir Arthur Wing Pinero's comedy-drama which was first produced in 1898. The play looks nostalgically back to the 1860s when the old style of exaggerated acting in rubbishy plays began a change to more natural performances in stories less removed from real life. The college play was produced by Mr D. H. MacKenzie.
