Mrs E. Boyd, now living in Mapua, celebrated her 90th birthday in the Nelson Public Hospital. Mrs Boyd was born in Motueka and for a period farmed in the Rai Valley. She has six children living, 22 grandchildren, and 41 great-grandchildren.
