Queen's Scout Awards

Five members of the Iron duke sea Scouts had a very important date last month. It was a day towards which they had worked so diligently for a number of years and a day on which they were to receive the fruits of their labour. Four of these youths were awarded their Queen's Scout badges - the highest award in scouting, and the other, already a Queen's Scout, received the framed certificate signed by Her Majesty. It was also an important evening for some of the newly-formed Sea Cubs who received their first badges, and for other scouts who won badges which brought them one step nearer their goal of a Queen's Badge.
